Festival Outfit Ideas

Haven’t done a fashion post in a while, so thought I would treat you all on this fine day. I have been internet shopping A LOT lately trying to get some inspiration for some events coming up which include my yearly One Direction concert and this year V FESTIVAL!. I so excited to be going to a festival this year after not going to one since 2010! I love music and some of my favourite artist’s are playing this year, so I’m ready to sing my heart out and get my groove on.

One thing I love about festivals is the fact you can dress up in style that you wouldn’t normally. I always find festivals have this retro, vibrant and hippy vibe, not that I dress normally anyway but festivals give you a chance to be loud and bold with the use of fashion.  Prints and bold colours are a must and we are lucky that they are also on trend this year, giving you a wider variation of items to buy! My favourite colour this season is lime and it just so happens that this is the perfect colour for festivals (You definitely won’t struggle to spot me in the crowd). I always find accesories are a must to top any outfit off ,so don’t be afraid to wear hats and layer the jewellery on! Footwear is tricky but luckily i find yu can’t go wrong with a pair of boots to give the outfit and edge but also they are practical in case it chucks it down, add a pair of frilly socks to make them cute!.

Here’s a few items I found that I love and are perfect items to wear to a festival. All the item’s are from high street stores that include Topshop, River Island, New Look, Dorothy Perkins and Office. If you would like to know where a certain items is from just comment and ill find it for you 😀

You know when you are listening to song and you you listen to the lyrics or sing them ridiculously loud in my case, and you juststop and think god that’s a good line or it just won’t leave your head? well I have a book load of them, here’s a few of my favourites!

Songs of the week 6/3/14

I’ve decided to do Songs of the week, every week, These are my favourite tunes whether they be undiscovered, classic and hits. I have a varied music taste so enjoy my playlists!

 

 

Love is in the air

I just love this couple. They are just adorable together. It was Valentines day was yesterday and even though I spent it with me, myself and I, I was far from a bitter lemon (not a lesbian). Seeing people in love is just adorable to see and I hope one day I have that connection with someone. So here’s a picture Zayn Malik posted on his twitter account of him and his other half Perrie Edwards…. The cuties and lets just sit and say ‘Awww’ together.

I love this band and I have been a solid fan for 7 years and my love for them is still strong with their new release ‘Lived A Lie’

Imagine Dragons

Love the album ‘Night Visions’ released by Imagine Dragons, it’s a Mumford and sons meets Coldplay vibe. Track 10 ‘Bleeding out’ has to be my favourite track as well as the already released singles ‘Radioactive’ and ‘It’s time’. Check it out!

Music Lover

I am a massive Music lover and I just can’t seem to dedicate myself to one genre. I have been going to concerts since I was about religiously since i was about 8, my first one being ever one being when i was a baby to see Kool and The Gang. That’s right my mum and Dad thought it was a great idea to take twin babies to a concert… CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES C’MON, Not that i remember the concert mind you but still not many people can say that James “J.T.” Taylor said that they were the most beautiful baby they had seen. That title my friends is dedicated to me (must of had a few whiskeys at that point). My concert that i can remember has to be good old Steps, popping out of massive christmas presents. So i have decided to put together a list of people i have seen Live, giving you and idea of what music i like and also to remind myself as i have a memory of a fish!
